  • Packet loss and congestion rate in circuit switching is much less than packet switching.
  • Packet Switching is a winner where burst data transmission occurs.
  • Circuit switching is a method in which a limited number of dedicated connections of constant bit rate and constant delay exists whereas in packet switching no dedicated connection is there nor there is a constant bit rate and constant delay.
